the wonders of tech..

well it is close to the end of june and it started to get hot here in oregon only to get cold and rain the next day. 103 then down to 67 all in 24 hours. yikes. went to swedish midsummer celebration on sat with the fam and had a pretty good time. swedish pancakes, if you have never tried them, are the BEST. make sure you get the original, that is, made by swedes…IHOP doesn’t count. SPAIN are EURO 2008 winners. after 44 years on no national wins in footy, torres puts one in the back of the net during the first half and bam…germany goes down in defeat…woohooo!!! goin to maui in two weeks, can’t wait. homework is going smooth now that i have all of it caught up and life is good. done…

soon to start and even though I have done it in the past I cannot bring myself to do it anymore. It is such an easy gig but what I have come to see is that it has begun to be a dumping ground for some of our more overly energetic kids. While a portion of the kiddos are actually there to keep up on their education in some form or another others are just there not caring about what we are trying to accomplish which is quite disappointing. I cant really blame the kids for it is not they who signed them up for the courses but their parents. Lets switch courses here, Euro 2008, Portugal out…boo. Turkey, Germany, Spain and Russia in. GOO RUSSIA!! gotta vote for someone, so it might as well be Russia, good to see them back up in the higher group these days…it has been awhile.

summer begins for a teacher, you are back at school. Yes that is right I am back at my school for the next three or so days. Rebuilds and adding software for the upcoming summer school session. No one wanted to start early on this so as usual…last minute. at least I have a Vegas trip coming up, classes for myself are goin good and it is sunny here in p-town. Portugal are out of the Euros and Germany are still in…garrrr…when will the madness end. Well at least Holland are still strong and I have a feeling they will prevail..time for sleep for it is 2am or thereabouts and I have to work at 7.

yes Oregon finally made the grade in my book.  sun is out and ppl are happier and well…life is good.  Euro 2008 was quite a bummer though.  Czech Republic is OUT!!  my goodness…2-0 in the lead and they squander it..they let turkey in again.  bah.  well i guess that Germany still might have a chance too…hope not though.  needs to be Netherlands and Portugal.  we can only hope.  homework is gettin done by both myself and the kiddos here at home.  a trip to the beach, a little yardwork, some futbol matches and you cant ask for much more…maybe a bigger paycheck but you cant have it all.  also I was toying with some of the stuff…wasnt workin here so I thought I might just try this… lemme know if it works..  click here—> lovely tune

well…here I go, first time blogger and have no idea what to write.  shall we talk about tech, news, politics or just life in general.  how about this…SCHOOLS OUT!!  woohoo.  what a year it has been and the next one should be even more exciting.  new comps for the lab, new proggies to work on during the summer.  i think that i will be introducing some new fun subjects for the kiddos to enjoy.  game development, digital photography, draw, video editing, word, excel, powerpoint, even some html work.  i have been toying with the idea of a blogsite for the kids to post at, could be something to think about.  we shall seee……
