well i had my second sitting the other day and got some more work done on my tattoo. it is monday night the day before kids come back…yikes. i got a new lab of comps and woohoo..gonna be killer. other than that. ran the hood to coast. liked it and lo and behold was asked to do it again this coming summer. i said…….yes. of course i would do it. rock on man. picts to follow. party on and good luck for the year…all.
well tomorrow is the big day. Hood to Coast run. yikes! am i prepared, i sure hope i am and i guess i will see when i get started on my first leg of the run. 4.25 miles. sounds easy, but then again i have to turn around and run another 6 miles in 4-5 hours. then it will be the last leg of 4 miles that will really be a doozey. am i freakin out…yes…a bit. i have faith though…i can and will do it. ok…time to sign out and get some rest. wish me luck….hopefully you will hear from me again…lol
it is over. that is right, i am talking about summer. we had great weather here and summers end was lookin really up and then the rain came. ARGHH!!! why can’t we just have some real killer weather until the start of school and also through the first semester. but NOOOOO…rain has to ruin it all. Sorry about that rant. it is just such a bummer. oh well, my days start in about five days or so. we report back to the school and get the ball rollin. i finished one class already and now will complete my next step and complete this one. bummer. learned alot and look forward to learning more as the years progress..at least the EPL started last weekend…YAYYY FOOTIE!!!! 
well it was a fun five days in sunny san diego. i and 11 of my co-workers attended a conference based on the AVID program. we attended two meetings a day, one in the morning and then one in the afternoon. the morning one was a hellavu lot better than the afternoon. it is good to be back home though, i missed my little rugrats and wish that they would have been there with me. i do have a funny story to tell though. i was still working on my running for my upcoming race and i decided to meet my friends down at ocean beach, needless to say, i dont know san diego and have a hard time following directions. that was my downfall…..i got lost, not once but twice and instead of a 7-8 mile jog i ended up running anywhere between 10-11 miles. yuk. it SUCKED. oh well…alls well that ends well. ok..time to work on assignment..
now here i am. sitting watchin some USL Footie on Fox Soccer channel and wanting to to some homework and GARRRRRRR, the Lesley site is so slow that I can’t get on it. What gives….sheesh. I WANT TO DO HOMEWORK, i mean it is only midnight, i have plenty of time. dang. other than that, nothing new, my boy is sick, i leave on sunday and….wait….i did go into school today and set up my room so i am happy with that. also…my new tattoo and kids with bubbles
well, it is about midnight here…the kids are in bed, i am thinkin of starting my work for the classes that i am in but…nahh. watch some babylon 5 and then hit the bed. i have a conference to go to in san diego on sunday for my school. we are participating in a program that helps us identify kids that have the academics for college but not the push that is needed from family, friends, etc. we become their mentors in a sense…should be fun. other than that, i hit the five mile mark yesterday on my jogging in preparation for the hood to coast and this will be a mighty leap for me. had to do it…hope i survive. woohoo…dont forget aug 16 is the start day of the EPL or English Premier League Go BLACKBURN!!!
it looks as if i might have been doing my blogs wrong? is it supposed to be dedicated to our class and the ongoing struggles we are having or should it be about us and what we are about? well whatever the case may be i will continue to keep up my stuff about me and life and some of the stuff in class. with the wiki almost done, the reading read and comments made on others blogs…i am off and running, now to do a database assignment…YAY!

yes that is right….back to blah. work to make extra cash-ola for other stuff during the summer. back to the drudgery of portland. back to weather that sucks….back to the fact that summer is winding down and soon school begins. at least i can look forward to a new group of kids and some new computers and some new ideas to start out the year with. woohooo. bills are paid, jogging has been going good, classwork is gettin done on time and with time to spare. rock and roll. hood to coast is coming soon so be ready for some pictures…yeahhh…me…hood to coast. get out the gurney. hahaha.
yes…I am here, no homework except for this little excerpt. we got here on friday and have swam, surfed, luau’ed, snorkeled, and swam. food is good, things are expensive yet it is all worth it. my kids and wife are having a blast…so am i for that matter, i can still bookmark for delicious, add a blog with a pic. need to make comments though. saw that one of my favorite epl teams west ham had a game against the columbus crew and a brawl broke out. shameful. ok…that is it for now…except for…
well i turned in my paper on social communication and all that relates to this huge pain in the arse when it is used by middle schoolers. hehe. that is right, we as adults use these in appropriate ways yet get a kid movin on email, txt, myspace, etc. and you could be lookin for trouble. this friday we leave for MAUI yep..thats right we go on vacation then upon our return i leave for san diego, then we are off to lake billy chinook. cant wait…
